From booking to return.
A seven-stage process designed around eligibility, vehicle condition and transparent deposit handling.
Select a vehicle and requested collection / return dates.
Upload driving licence and DVLA check code, consent to a licence check and complete age/identity verification through our verification provider.
Collect the hire fee through Stripe and place a security deposit authorisation, subject to payment-provider hold limits.
Record a time-stamped vehicle walkaround and capture a digital signature.
Monitor the hired vehicle through installed GPS and telematics, subject to consent and policy.
Inspect condition, fuel, mileage and relevant telematics readings.
The security deposit is released after the rental agreement ends and the return inspection is complete, less any agreed charges. Bank processing times may vary.

What is the minimum driver age?
Drivers must be aged 25 or over to hire a vehicle from Quayline Cars.
Do I need to provide a driving licence?
Yes. Our planned process requires a valid driving licence, DVLA check code and permission to conduct an appropriate licence check.
How much is the deposit?
Final rates, security deposits and payment terms are yet to be approved by the operator.
How is the deposit returned?
The security deposit is released after the rental agreement ends and return checks are completed, less any charges due under the agreement. Your bank may take additional time to make the funds available.
Is delivery included?
Delivery is free within our approved service area. Please enquire to confirm your postcode.
